What does it mean to “be present”, to pay attention to the world, especially to the people around you?  Do we hear they are saying, see where they are, feel what they are feeling, understand what their hearts are trying to communicate? The picture that came into my head was of Eyes and Ears…. or as I sometimes say, “Just shut up and listen…”
