Don’t Mess With Me
One of the other adults working with me with the youth group in our church is quite the martial arts enthusiast and instructor. I made this little fighter thinking of him.
I have made many, many dragons, lizards and other mythical characters over the years, starting when I was a boy. As an adult working in the IT industry, I used to go around after 5:00PM, when the rest of the office had gone home, and use modeling clay to create little creatures for people to discover in the morning, sitting on top of their computer monitors, looking down at them. They were never overtly evil or threatening, and some were downright friendly, but they are still a picture of strength and resilience — not one to be easily pushed around.
